OS 5.0 And BES 5.0 In Action
We have seen the BlackBerry 5.0 OS in action, many of you all probably still have 5.0 loaded onto either your Bold or 8900 at this point as well, but what we have not really seen is some of new features OS 5.0 brings with it to those of you all who are attached to a BES. Fortunately, Greg over at Berry Review and the good folks at BlackBerry Forums Australia have put together a nice collection of screen shots highlighting some of the new options which will soon be available, BBF Australia have also posted some of the BES 5.0 details as well. More screens after the break. [ BerryReview via BBFAU ] CrackBerry.com’s feed sponsored by ShopCrackBerry.com. OS 5.0 And BES 5.0 In Action
Leaked: BlackBerry Desktop Manager Software 5.0
With BlackBerry 5.0 device software for the BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Curve 8900 leaking onto the interwebs this week, it only makes sense that Destop Manager 5.0 software would follow suit. Big thanks goes out to sliderz once again for sending us in the link. I'm not sure how close this software is to being in final form considering it hasn't been officially released by RIM, but it looks to be the same as in the Desktop Manager 5.0 preview we brought you a couple weeks back. After unzipping the file and installing on my PC, the software seems to be working fine and loaded up 5.0.0.90 onto my Curve 8900 without issue. But as usual with this kind of thing, ** Install and Use at Own Risk ** Another BlackBerry 9630 Video Walk Through….
The BlackBerry “Niagara” 9630 has yet to be officially acknowledged by Research in Motion, but that hasn't stopped it from going under the microsope a few times already (CB 9630 Review Part I, CB 9630 Review Part II, BGR 9630 Review). So while the 9630's goodness is already out there for all to know, I know most of us CrackBerry addicts never get tired of looking at pre-release device footage. That said, this latest BlackBerry 9630 video tour comes via thebigwletman, who has to be the youngest reviewer to ever get his hands on a pre-release BlackBerry. Be sure to check out these forum threads for the CrackBerry community's initial feedback (he says a few things that aren't very accurate). Take a watch… and let the blog post comments begin.
